New Season, New Name for Naples Orchestra


Naples Orchestra and Chorus announces their 2020 season lineup and with it, an official name change. Under the direction of internationally renowned conductor and violinist Max Rabinovitsj (in his sixth season), Naples Orchestra and Chorus is now known as Naples Community Orchestra (NCO). The change reflects their dedication to bringing audiences the finest in community orchestral performance and their commitment to creating exciting opportunities for students and accomplished local musicians to learn and perform together.

With the new moniker also comes a new location and performance times for the 2020 NCO concert schedule. All concerts will be held at Moorings Presbyterian Church, located at 791 Harbour Drive in Naples. Moorings Presbyterian Church features ample seating and state of the art acoustics. Performances will now be Friday evenings at 7 PM and Saturday afternoons at 3:30 PM.

NCO performance schedule is as follows:

  • Friday, January 17 & Saturday, January 18 – Pops! Time-Honored Melodies featuring Broadway’s Jessica Grové and Concert Artist Jodie DeSalvo.
  • Friday, February 7 & Saturday, February 8 – Brahms and Mozart featuring Clarinetist Bixby Kennedy.
  • Friday, March 13 & Saturday, March 14 – A Tribute to Beethoven featuring Pianist Dror Biran.
  • Friday, April 17 & Saturday, April 18 – Brahms and Mozart Revisited featuring Violinist Stella Chen.

Tickets to all performances can be purchased either through a season subscription or individually by visiting the NCO website at naplescommunityorchestra.org. Don’t miss an exciting season of world-class talent and performances by Naples Community Orchestra!
