The line-up of musicians on the big stage at the 2019 Everglades Seafood Festival on the weekend of February 8-10 includes some new faces as well as old favorites.
Making an appearance for the first time is The Petty Hearts, a tribute group to rock star Tom Petty (1950-2017). The five lads come from Fort Lauderdale but travel all over the county and won first place in the “Battle of the Tribute Bands” at the South Florida Fair last year. They will be the last act on Sunday in Everglades City to close out this famous festival on a high.
Also showing up for their Everglades debut is the South Florida rock combo Rambler who got together in 2012 and admit to liking Lynryd Skynyrd.
Another tribute group, this one to Frankie Valli, is Let’s Hang On, who return to perform on Friday night. They are proud to tour with a full live band that re-creates the 1960s sound.
More old favorites appearing during the weekend are Tim Elliott with his new single “I Got You,” The Lost Rodeo, Tim Channon, Electric Lipstick, Lauren Mitchell, Gator Nate, and American Idol star from Miami Nadia Turner.
The traditional festival weekend in this historic “Olde Florida” town promises to be full of good entertainment as well as good food, interesting arts & crafts vendors, and plenty of amusement for the kiddies on the carnival rides.
