The Rotary Club of Marco Island Noontime welcomes a new member—Reverend Jessica Babcock. Jessica is the new Rector at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. She is a native of Anniston, Alabama, and a lifelong Episcopalian. She holds a Master of Divinity from Sewanee, an M.S. in Adult Education from Georgia State University, and a B.A in English from The Centre College of Kentucky. Throughout her tenure as a priest, she has worked with multiple age groups from preschoolers to youth to older adults, led intergenerational programs, and promoted families serving together by creating new outreach programs. Jessica and her husband Dwight met while serving in the U.S. Peace Corps in the North Pacific in 1988. They have two college–age daughters, Emory and Adelaide. The family loves to explore Florida and the world: camping, kayaking, hiking and birding.
Our Rotary Club looks forward to getting to know the whole Babcock family. Jessica’s passion to serve, many talents, and vibrant personality are a tremendous asset to our Rotary Club.
“Jessica, welcome to Marco Island and to our Rotary Club family.”
