New Christmas Tree Lights up the Season

As part of a community-wide celebration, a brand-new 40-foot-high Christmas tree was lit at Veterans Community Park in Marco Island last evening.

Thousands of people of all ages were in attendance to enjoy the lineup of entertainment, tailgating, and of course, the spectacular and dramatic tree lighting.

Christmas Island Style organizes this fun annual event, which has become one of the most highly-attended and most anticipated events of the holiday season.

The new Christmas tree replaced a 15-year-old tree that had been donated by the Italian American Society. The old tree was refurbished and relocated to Founder’s Park.
