The Keller Williams Realty Marco Island market center, located at 830 Bald Eagle Drive, was established in 2005 and has 100 associates. Even with Hurricane Irma’s long-lasting negative impact on the housing market, the rapidly growing market center had a total sales volume of $246.6 million over the past 12 months, with an average of $253.2 million in annual sales over the last seven years. The market center has shared $670,075 in profits with its agents since 2010.
Two new additions have recently been made to the Keller Williams team.
Former WHAS (ABC) meteorologist Jared Heil has joined the rapidly expanding team of agents at Keller Williams Realty in Marco Island.
“Building on our success in Marco Island, we want to continue to bring outstanding agents who can uphold our high customer service standards, and Jared was a natural fit,” said Dale Suslick, CEO and team leader of Keller Williams Realty Marco Island.
“While I had my choice of firms to join in Marco Island, Keller Williams’ culture, training, and reputation for treating people right made this an easy decision,” Heil said. “In the short time I’ve been at this market center, I’ve already noticed a sense of community and willingness to help each other understand the marketplace. There’s something to be said for an organization that works well together.”
Heil, who spent the past nine years a meteorologist in Louisville, Ky., officially started his Florida real estate career in 2018. However, he has experience digitally marketing multi-million-dollar properties in his family’s Indiana real estate auction business. He continues to maintain a fast-growing website for the company and leads its digital marketing efforts.
Although Heil has spent many years working within his family’s real estate auction business in southern Indiana, he always felt a calling to better understand the area’s tumultuous weather systems.
He attended the University of Louisville and graduated with honors from the Atmospheric Science program. Heil also holds the distinction of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society.
“I’ve had two big passions: the weather, and building a life in Southwest Florida,” Heil said. “By bringing those two together, along with real estate, I can put my knowledge to work as an extra asset to our customers when it comes to understanding any weather that a real estate investment could endure. Even though we always look out for storms, the area’s predominantly gorgeous weather sells itself, and makes it so attractive to call home.”
Jill Wylam has joined Robin Suslick Homes, one of Keller Williams Marco Island’s highest achieving teams.
“Adding key talent, like Jill, to our team is just another step in our ongoing commitment to serve and dedicate resources to enriching our customer service,” said Dale Suslick, CEO and team leader of Keller Williams Realty Marco Island.
Wylam, who has been a licensed real estate agent since 2006, has an impressive base of buyers and sellers and has served as a trusted advisor to many homeowners in her current market in Rochester, Minnesota.
“When I decided that I was going to move to Marco Island, I met with a lot of brokerages and Keller Williams was instantly a perfect fit,” Wylam said. “Their supportive, family environment coupled with the incredible training opportunities made it an easy decision to partner with them.”
Wylam earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Purdue University and continues her horticultural passions part-time in the spring at a local nursery.
She is also an active volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, serves as an election judge during election years, volunteers at her church, and helps with several community fundraisers.
