From its inception five years ago, family owned and operated Nene’s Kitchen is one of the most popular family friendly restaurants on the island.
Hailing from Chicago, owner Bob Natale runs his restaurant as a hands-on operation along with his son, Bobby. The wait staff and chefs all work together as a team to present fresh, creative and affordable meals. They greet and welcome all their customers as though they were long time friends and with their consistent food and friendly service most recommend their new found favorite dining spot to friends and family.
Serving breakfast and lunch daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. all year round, Their menu is extensive with breakfast entrees ranging from their famous Egg Skillets to their signature item, Crunchy French Toast to my personal favorite, Baked Apple Pancakes as well as Create Your Own Omelets with a large selection of ingredients to select from.
Their lunch menu includes everyone’s favorite hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, homemade soups, wraps and fresh salads, all at popular prices. They also offer a Kids Menu with many choices to please even the pickiest eaters.
Nene’s Kitchen also serves dinner November to April from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday to Saturday with all entrees reasonably priced with choices to rival any restaurant in the area. The choices include many varieties of Beef, Pork, Chicken and Fish. Their feature dinner includes an 8 oz. Filet with Lobster Tail for only $19.95. They include a complimentary glass of wine with every dinner entree and Kids 10 and under eat free. They serve beer and wine by the glass or bottle.
