Do you remember when you were young and ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch? You can help a family experience the same feeling and also provide needed food. April 2, 2012 is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. To celebrate, St. Vincent de Paul Society Naples District Council is collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly in locations throughout the Naples area during the month of March. These jars will be distributed to hungry families in the Naples area during the week of April 2, 2012.
To donate, look for collection boxes at your community’s center, local businesses, the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store on Davis Blvd in Naples or the thrift store on Bonita Beach Rd in Bonita as well as the administration building on Davis Blvd. St. Vincent de Paul Society provides food, personal assistance and Meals On Wheels for those in need in the Naples area.
