Time to smile and say…OPA!! Save the date! You can join the fun Friday through Sunday on February 6, 7 & 8, 2015 at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Naples and be Greek for a day – or even enjoy the entire weekend for just $4!
Come on out to St. Katherine’s — 7100 Airport Pulling Road at Orange Blossom — where you can celebrate the Greek spirit while feasting on delicious Greek food, wine, and pastries, created by our pastry & meal chefs. Sample new taste treats at our authentic Greek Taverna! Thirsty? Wander over to our new Beverage Tent.
According to Festival chairman Jim Ketis, this year’s expanded Festival will be “bigger & better than ever!” There will be Free Parking with a Free 1-Minute Shuttle available conveniently across the street from the event.
More “New and Improved” features of the Festival include an expanded and broader layout with unique & quality vendors, an authentic Greek Taverna, and a convenient drive-through pick-up service which makes taking home those special treats to enjoy much easier. Children will love the Bounce-House, the rock climbing wall, having their photos taken with our new giant mascot “YIANNI”.
This ‘family friendly’ Festival features live music and dancers in authentic Greek costumes, scheduled church tours with beautiful new Iconography on view, Greek cooking demonstrations and Greek cultural items for sale. Look for our big white tents in the rear of the church.
This year’s Greek Festival raffle prize is a fabulous 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA from Mercedes Benz of Naples. Raffle tickets are available in advance from St. Katherine’s parishioners and will be on sale at the Festival each day. The drawing will take place between 6 and 7:00pm Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015.
A portion of all Greek Festival proceeds will benefit the “AGAPE” Fund, the charitable arm of St. Katherine’s which distributes funds to charitable organizations in Naples. The festival will also, once again, donate to the “Helping Kids with Cancer” RADIOTHON. The annual Radiothon supports children’s cancer services throughout Southwest Florida through the Golisano Children’s Hospital Cancer Center.
Admission is free on Friday, February 6 from 11 until 3 p.m. Festival hours are from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday & Saturday, February 7 & 8, and from 12 – 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9. Admission: Buy a wrist band for just $4 and enjoy the entire weekend! Admission is free for children under 12 on all days.
