Mothball Case Resolved with No Contest Plea




The Mothball Owl Case was resolved on January 24th when defendant Roger Fleming pled no contest to level 2 misdemeanor, was fined $200, and sentenced to six months’ probation, along with 75 hours of community service and ordered to pay $200 fine. He must also pay court costs and the cost of the prosecution. 

The Court placed Fleming on probation for a period of 6 months under the supervision of the Collier County Probation. Fleming has the right to appeal his sentence within 30 days from his date of sentencing. The Court also recommended 75 hours of community service.
