In a recent Sunday afternoon, Moose Lodge 1990 kicked off their grand opening to a packed house full of Moose Lodge dignitaries, Moose Riders,
and guests. The Moose Lodge has moved to new location at 30 Marco Lake Drive, Marco Island (formerly Marco Polo). The open house entertained
nearly 400 guests with music from Nevada Smith. It also included special Moose traditions and a “Get to Know the Moose” membership drive.
Gastineau donated her motorcycle to the motorcycle raffle to benefit Tech for Autism, a charity very close to the Marco Moose.
“Many of us have
been affected by autism. All of us either have a family member or a loved one who has been affected. We want to do
all we can to help,” explained Jim Kelly, Deputy Supreme Governor. “It’s all about us donating to our community, Moose Heart (an orphanage in
Chicago), Moose Haven (a senior community). It’s all about kids, seniors, and our community for the Moose.”
