The Marco Island Academy boys basketball team fell to Evangelical Christian 83-44 on December 4, at Marco’s gym.

The game was played under a handful of lights at each end of the court because of a malfunction of the lighting system at the gym. The lighting conditions didn’t affect Evangelical Christian as they were able to steadily outscore the Rays throughout the contest.

Kevin Barry was the leading scorer for the Rays with 17 points, including two three pointers. Dominic Moller had nine and Kyler Howard eight for Marco.
