Men’s Breakfast

This month’s “Men’s Breakfast” has been pulled back a week to Nov. 13th at 9am.

Sorry for any inconvenience. Our speaker this month is Bishop Terry Walker. He Sounds interesting and I believe that he may have good words for us.

In addition, as a contractor, God is using him to help a Haitian Church of God in Ft. Myers with their building program. Therefore he has experience in the non-church world that will give him even more credibility with us men.

Every guy 13 to 150 can attend, so bring those sons with you!

I look forward to seeing many of you

Love in Christ,

About Bishop Terry D. Walker

A native of Ware County, Georgia, Bishop Walker accepted the call to ministry in 1989 in a small town in Central Florida. It was there in the city of Longwood and under the leadership of Senior Pastor Joseph Mirkovich at the Longwood Worship Center that Bishop Walker began as a first generation with the Church of God to pursue the call of the Lord upon his life.

Terry Walker received his ministerial license in 1993 and became an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God International Offices in Cleveland, Tennessee in 1999. He has served in various ministerial roles such as Youth Pastor, Christian Education Director, Evangelist, Church Planter, Hospital Chaplain/Pastoral Care and Senior Pastor. With 18 plus years of pastoral ministry he has a well seasoned approach to sharing the gospel.

Gaining great success within the Church of God denomination, Bishop Walker has given service to both local and regional boards and committees, youth campsand discipleship development programs.

Bishop Walker is a committed student of the Bible and an accomplished teacher and speaker of the word of God. He preaches a positive message of hope and revival with emphasis on personal renewal and restoration. He is married to Tina  Massie Walker who is also a licensed minister. They have three adult children whose ages are 19, 22 and 27.

God placed a call upon Bishop Walker with a pastoral ministry that has a vision and burden to establish souls in His kingdom and to train up and develop leaders within the body of Christ. This call is being fulfilled in the mission that the Lord has put in his life and will bring forth a deeper understanding of the scriptures as lives are being changed and people are brought into a closer relationship with God.
