The Rotary Club of Marco Island Sunrise is sponsoring a Memory Loss and Aging Program, Wednesday January 27, 2016 at the Rose History Auditorium, 180 S. Heathwood Drive, Marco Island.
Joseph Shega, M.D. will lead an open discussion of memory loss and aging. Dr. Shega will address such issues as risks and methods to reduce risk of memory loss. Dr. Shega has been caring for and educating others about geriatric patients and end-of-life care since 1999. He is board certified in geriatrics and hospice and palliative medicine.
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments and appetizers will be provided. Sunrise Rotary President Debra Shanahan said, “We are offering this program to assist all Marco Islanders concerning this personal and delicate issue. We hope for a large turnout.”
The program is jointly presented with First Florida Integrity Bank, which is equally committed to the health and wellbeing of Marco Islanders. Tom Wagor, vice president of First Florida Integrity Bank, expressed his excitement about the program.
