Ronna McDaniel was an honored guest of the Women’s Republican Club of Naples Federated for a luncheon at the Stonebridge Country Club. She came to address the human trafficking issues facing Southwest Florida.

Human trafficking reports are on the rise in Florida. Tragically, over 50% of the victims of human trafficking are children. The Southwest Florida Regional Human Trafficking Coalition has raised over $10,000 for this cause.

Ronna Romney McDaniel was picked by Donald Trump as Chair of the Michigan GOP, and she worked hard to deliver the key state for Trump — the first time a Republican presidential candidate has won Michigan in almost 30 years. She has been a loyal Trump supporter since he secured the GOP nomination.

Ronna is the niece of 2012 Republican presidential nominee and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. She is the granddaughter of the late Michigan Governor, George Romney. She is the latest Romney to step onto the stage representing the third generation of her political family.

Ronna and her husband Patrick Mc- Daniel have two children, Abigail and Nash. Nash was named after the famous Nash Rambler. She also introduced her two brothers, George and Kevin, who accompanied her to the luncheon.

Ronna credits her grandfather for having a huge influence in their lives. She recalled, “He had us over for Sunday dinner regularly and talked about the privilege and the blessings of living in the United States of America. He loved this country and this love was something that he passed along to members of his family. His grandfather also instilled the importance of giving back and that is something the Romneys as a family cannot take for granted.”

She brought personal greetings from President Trump, who sent his big “Thank You” for delivering Florida. She asked, on President Trump’s behalf, “Will I win here again?” In reply, the crowd of supporters gave a loud, affirmative “YES!”

Ronna went over a list of the Trump/ Pence messages for the upcoming 2018 Florida mid-term elections. She urged everybody to be engaged and united in our message, which includes jobs, a strong economy, low unemployment, the stock market and consumer confidence at alltime highs, increased military spending, and the love of country and our freedoms; These are worth fighting for!
