More than 100 students, teachers, vendors, and attendees participated in Marco Yoga Fest 2019 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
Attendees enjoyed a full schedule of classes with a variety of vendors to keep them entertained before and after class.
Many talented artists were on hand, including Brandon Bowe, who displayed hand crafted items and two very special hand painted surfboards that took him three years to complete. There were also many vendors displaying products, including from the Marco Island Candle Company, and others selling chemical free cosmetics, organic oils skin care products, handwoven clothing and jewelry. Other services were available, such as tarot card readings and henna tattoos. Also present at the event was a representative from the Holistic Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s Marco Yoga Fest was dedicated to Sue Goril, a Revival Yoga Fitness Studio student who unexpectedly passed away this past February. In honor of Sue, her family, and the many Revival students who miss her, funds from the Yoga Fest will be donated to her favorite charity, the Marco Island Nature Preserve and Bird Sanctuary. ️
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Marco Yoga Fest a great success. Plans are in the works for Marco Yoga Fest 2020!
