The public is invited to free a showing of the movie “Courageous”. Marco Presbyterian Church will show the film 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10. “Courageous”, from the creators of “Fireproof”, was number 4 on the first weekend it was released and stayed in the top 10 for 4 weeks.
The movie follows the lives of four law enforcement officers who are confident and focused as they serve and protect. They willingly stand up to the worst the streets have to offer. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood. While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as fathers. They quickly discover that their standard misses the mark when tragedy hits home and they wrestle with their hopes, fears and faith.
Movie goers will laugh, cry and cheer as they are challenged and inspired by these everyday heroes who long to be the kind of fathers that make a life long impact on their children.
The movie is rated PG-13 for some violence and drug content. No tickets are necessary.
The church has a full range sound system and T coil hearing assist system.
