The November 14th meeting of the Marco Island Writers has two guest speakers scheduled. For the first hour, southwest Florida resident, Tina Murray, Ph.D., will speak. Ms. Murray has degrees in art education, education, art and drama from the Florida State University and the University of Miami. Did you know that the first invasion of privacy lawsuit in Florida involved Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings’ book Cross Creek? Anne Dalton, Esq., will commandeer the second half of the meeting to talk about the invasion of privacy concerns specific to writers. Anne has a general law and mediation practice with particular emphasis on creative arts and entertainment law. Marco Island Writers is open to the public. Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Center for the Arts located at 1010 Winterberry Drive. Meeting times are 6:30-8:30 PM.
