Marco Island Center for the Arts Announces Fine Art Film Festival Lineup

s is set to stream six award-winning short films for the stupendous Fine Arts Film Festival. These selections are all award-winning pieces selected from submissions to festivals under the direction of former Executive Director of Marco Island Center for the ArtsLynn Holley. As owner and curator of International Fine Arts Film Festival and 3-Minute Film Festival Holley has hand-picked six of the top films for Marco Island Center for the Arts to stream live to followers on October 28 at 5:30 PM. 

This Fine Art Film Festival will begin with an introduction by Lynn Holley and will be followed by six short films. The films slated for this streaming festival are as follows.

Blank Canvas (USA) 

  • Fine Art Film Festival Santa Barbara Director’s Choice Award 2019 

A solo dance that shows the shifting of a colorless world to a world full of colors through dance and music. Its mission is to inspire creativity.

Pillars of Light: The Art of Jeremy Gardiner (United Kingdom) 

  • Fine Art Film Festival Santa Barbara Best Documentary 2016 
  • Finalist, Blow Up Chicago Arthouse Film Festival 

This short film portrays Gardiner’s research and inspiration, as he sets out to visit the lighthouses of Devon, Dorset, and Cornwall in the Southwest of England.

The films will be shown in the order as listed. Marco Island Center for the Arts will begin streaming this live to their Facebook and YouTube pages on October 28 at 5:30 PM.
