recipes and cooking skills can be built upon to suit personal tastes. She explained that toasted almonds, walnuts or macadamia nuts can be substituted for pine nuts in the pesto recipe. Chef Laura also offered options of brandy, Grand Marnier, and Cointreau for the sundae’s sauce. After the class and luncheon,
