Love Was On the Menu


Romance was in the air at Mackle Park, along with the fragrant scent of roasting hotdogs and other outdoorsy delights, for the City of Marco Island’s annual Valentine’s Day Picnic.

The free, lunchtime gathering drew a host of hungry couples and families to the park, where part of the basketball court was turned into picnic area. Serving up the eats and manning the grill was staff from the City’s Parks and Recreation Department.
