The San Marco Knights of Columbus is holding its 42nd Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, March 13, 2016, with a 1:30 PM shotgun start.

Eagle Creek Golf and Country Club will host what will be the first-ever golf tournament in Knights’ history to be held during Southwest Florida’s traditional winter season.

In addition to the fun competition, the tournament will raise much-needed funds for many community organizations. Grand Knight John Caltabiano said, “the generosity of our sponsors, the commitment of our members, and the support of Marco golfers will raise funds to provide for our local charities, including scholarships, disabled children, and assistance to the needy in our area.”

The $150 donation will feature a $10,000 hole-in-one, greens fee, golf cart, dinner, and the clubhouse award ceremony that follows. Hole sponsorships are still available for $100. Both men and women’s prizes will be awarded, with top prizes being $100 to each member of the winning foursomes.

The co-chairs for the tournament, Richard Shanahan and Joe Fatony, are promising a fun day of food and golf, and the challenge of a championship course close to Marco Island. Eagle Creek Golf and Country Club is located at 11 Cypress View Drive in Naples, just off SR 951, approximately two blocks south of Highway 41.

Sign-up sheets are available at Premiere Plus Realty at 567 East Elkcam, and the San Marco Church Parish Office at 851 San Marco Road. Players and hole sponsors can call Joe Fatony at 917-679-5573 or John Caltabiano at 239 642-9840 for details and sign-up sheets.
