On April 2nd, at Marco Lutheran Church, 115 people made 50,000 meals for Kids against Hunger. Half the meals were beans and rice, half Mac and cheese. Students requested the addition of Mac and cheese. All of the food will go to local schools and food banks.

To meet the need this summer there will be a three county event May 14 to pack one million meals. There is a greater need for food during the summer as students do not get the free or reduced breakfast and lunch. Volunteers and donations are needed.

Locally it will be held in Collier County at Naples High with two sessions 8:30 to 10:30 and 10:30 to 12:30. To sign up go to www.MassiveRotaryAction.com. People of all ages are welcome to sign up. There are sit down jobs.
