On July 25, come hear for yourself, when Marco Island Center for the Arts presents superb guitarist Mark Fogel to island audiences. This will be a must-see show for anyone that likes groovy guitar based music.
Mark Fogel is a New York born guitarist and a graduate of Brooklyn College. His career encompassed performing and recording with many singers and musicians from wellknown bands, such as Billy Joel, Harry Chapin, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, and the list continues. He also played in the pit for off-Broadway shows, including “Grease” and “Guys and Dolls.”
This guitar concert will feature Mark performing songs by some of the world’s most celebrated rock, jazz, blues, classical and Latin guitar players. The show also features a question and answer session.
Musical Interludes is an ongoing music series at Marco Island Center for the Arts that brings world-class intimate and affordable performances to Marco Island and surrounding communities. The concerts include chamber music, jazz, opera and other genres that appeal to audiences of all ages.
The concert will take place on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 5:30-7 PM in the Main Gallery at the Marco Island Center for the Arts, located at 1010 Winterberry Drive. Tickets are $25.
