The 2014-2015 season was a busy one for Goodland with more people visiting our unique fishing village. In an effort to keep the ball rolling from one great season into the next, the Goodland Civic Association is actively planning the 6th Annual Holiday Bazaar. This two-day affair is held at Margood Harbor Park, located at 321 Pear Tree Avenue, Goodland, Florida. This waterfront park is lined with shade trees, features meandering pathways, a playground for the kids, and the Margood History Museum. The Museum will be open during the Holiday Bazaar for those visitors eager to learn about Goodland’s unique and colorful history. The park is within walking distance to Goodland’s four waterfront restaurants featuring entertainment and fine fare in a laid back and relaxing “Old Florida” atmosphere.
This event is growing! Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, 2015 the Bazaar will host over 70 artists, crafters and food vendors alongside local musicians, filling Margood Harbor Park. The Holiday Bazaar will offer a 50/50 raffle and silent auction featuring tours, gift certificates, merchandise, hotel stays and much more, with all items being donated from area businesses, restaurants, merchants, tour companies and resorts. This venue is expected to draw hundreds of people. The Holiday Bazaar is free of charge and open to all ages. If you’re looking for a unique one-of-a-kind gift this holiday season, or just want to sit back and enjoy live music in a beautiful waterfront surrounding, the Goodland Civic Association’s Holiday Bazaar is sure to please.
