Wednesday, July 16, was a good day for John R. Wood Properties. That was the day that the legendary John R. Wood cut the ribbon on the real estate firm’s new Marco Island office, located at 1000 N. Collier Blvd.
As managing broker of John R. Wood-Marco Island, George A. Percel welcomed everyone to the ribbon-cutting, including founding owner John Wood, representatives from the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce and the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors (MIAAOR). Wood toasted the opening, citing the positive impact the real estate industry has had on the Florida economy.
Percel has extensive real estate experience in theMarco Island market, and has been active here since 1991. John R. Wood Properties has been serving the Southwest Florida real estate market for 55 years. The firm’s new 4,000-square-foot office is a tribute to the rising market on Marco Island, and to make available to area consumers the company’s exceptional service.
The new office’s staff of 30 real estate professionals offers services in all aspects of the real estate transaction to both buyers and sellers. David Tate, Patricia M. Ward, and Chris and Laura Adams are joining Natalie Kirstein and Katie Livesey in the new office. In the sister Marco Island Office are Paige Rhodes andThe Kennedy Team of Sharon and Ray Kennedy. Ward hails from Brasher Falls, NY, and attended the College of New Rochelle and Fordham University, earning a BA in Mathematics and a MA in Educational Administration. After relocating from Middletown, NY, to Naples, Ward worked as a high school math teacher and director of mathematics, grades K-12. Sheholds GRI, SFR, ABR, and CNE real estate designations and is a member of NABOR. She is a member of the David Tate Team.
Rhodes is originally from Milton, FL, and she attended the University of North Florida, earning a communications degree. She first became active in real estate at Rhodes, Van Note and Company in New Jersey. She is a member of the President’s Circle 2001-2006 and participates in fundraising for cancer research. She is a member of MIAAOR.
