JoAnn DeBartolo: Candidate for the Republican State Committeewoman

Guest Commentary

I am JoAnn DeBartolo and I am a candidate for the office of the Republican State Committeewoman for Collier County. The August 18th primary will give voters their first opportunity since 2004 to vote for a State Committeewomen. The incumbent was chosen by party insiders to fill that seat.

The Republican State Committeewoman has an important role in determining the leadership and mission of the Republican Party as a member of the Executive Board of the Collier County Republican Executive Committee (CCREC) and as a voting member of the Republican Party of Florida (RPoF). I will be one of three people from Collier County who can vote for the next Chairperson of the RPoF. The next State Committeewoman will also be one of only three people from Collier County who will vote for the delegates who will represent Florida at the Republican National Committee Convention in 2024.

This year the 109,000 Republican voters of Collier County will have a clear choice. I am Pro-Life and a Constitutional Conservative. I was Chair of the Donald J. Trump for President Campaign in Collier County. I continue to be a powerful advocate for President Trump as a Founder and President of the Patriots for Trump Club, Inc.

I am a native of New Jersey and I relocated to Naples, Florida in 2005 to pursue a career in real estate. I worked on the election campaigns of Governor/Senator Rick Scott, was the County Representative for Governor Ron DeSantis, as well as the Collier County Chairwoman for the Donald J Trump for President Campaign. I am also a member of the Collier County Republican Executive Committee, Women’s Republican Club of Naples Federated and the Republican Women of Southwest Florida Federated.

I have received endorsements from both local and national figures including former State Representative Matt Hudson, former advisor to President Trump – Roger Stone, as well as Michael Caputo – Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, Health & Human Services Department and from Alfie Oakes. For more information on my campaign, please visit my website at JoAnnDeBartolo.com.
