It’s time for some seafood!

 

 

The third annual Marco Island Seafood festival will be held at Veteran’s Community Park March 26th and 27th. Last year the event drew 9000 people and is expected to draw larger crowds this year. In addition to wide ranging seafood selections, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, deserts and more will be available for your dining pleasure. There are over 60 arts and crafts booths and a kid’s zone to round off a complete weekend of family fun! A full schedule featuring some of the best musicians in Southwest Florida are lined up to entertain you.

Parking is available on site with overflow parking available at City Hall and the Marco Healthcare Center. A complimentary shuttle service is available serving all major shopping areas, the Healthcare Center, and hotels. The event is hosted by the Sunrise Rotary Club, the Noontime Rotary Club and the Kiwanis Club of Marco Island. The entrance fee of $6 (children under 12 years of age are free ) helps pay for the charitable donations of the three clubs and continues to provide for over 55 humanitarian projects presently supported by the clubs. The Marco Island Seafood Festival has no paid staff. Over 200 volunteers make this event happen which offers two great days of fun for residents and visitors alike. Major festival sponsors include the Seminole Indian Casino, Mutual Bank of Omaha and Comcast. They, along with a numerous smaller sponsors, make this event possible.
