BMO helps Naples Equestrian Challenge prepare for event
Employees from BMO Private Bank and BMO Harris Bank, both a part of BMO Financial Group, recently organized a volunteer team for a day dedicated to helping Naples Equestrian Challenge prepare for their 7th Annual Bootstrap Boogie Barn Dance.
BMO volunteers pulled up their bootstraps and painted a cottage as well as stained railings and posts around the stables. Proceeds from the Barn Dance allow Naples Equestrian Challenge to fulfill its mission of improving the lives of children and adults with special needs through therapeutic riding and other equine-related programs. Volunteers participating were Brian Mazgaj, Scott Hansen, Jack Kuhn, Erica Sparks, Bryan K. Kenzie, Patrick Kellard and Marylin Sprada.
“The Naples Equestrian Challenge isdoing so much to help people with special needs and we wanted to help this organization in their efforts which mean so much in our community,” commented A. Scott Hansen, Managing Director Gulf Coast Offices and Senior Portfolio Manager for BMO Private Bank in Naples.
Employee volunteering is embedded in BMO’s culture and a source of pride for the company. Efforts like supporting the Naples Equestrian Challenge are a priority in each and every market. In addition, each year, employees participate in a Volunteer Day, a company-wide day of service. This year more than 6,500 employees across the North America lent a hand to the nearly 400 projects.
