Isles of Capri Post Irma

Hurricane Irma was brutal to older homes, but new construction looked as though Irma was just a dream.
Precious artwork was saturated by storm surge, and was quick to develop mold.
Piles of debris are everywhere on the Isles of Capri, many such piles are taller than the unfortunate homeowners.
Shingles blew off homes and blue tarps cover many damaged roofs.
Even the students off from school helped to load up furniture to transport to storage facilities.
Work Crews from Mississippi helped to resore power, which was a challenge. Many lines were draped on houses, buried under debris or in the middle of streets, which prevented access.
The trees on Isles of Capri suffered major damage, especially the fruit trees, gumbo limbos and palms.
