Island Eyes Home Watch Services has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the second year. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org). Home Watch is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence.
Dina Schleifer, the owner and founder of Island Eyes Investigative Services, began this service back in 2000. As licensed private investigators, Dina and her team have come across so many obvious examples and situations that made them aware of the need for a Home Watch on Marco and in Collier County. The deciding factor was when Hurricane Irma happened in 2017. After that, they launched their new company.
“Experience, integrity and results” Island Eyes’ motto, and because they are family-owned and incredibly skilled in the field of observation and surveillance, they are an excellent bet for folks looking for Home watch services. They also pride themselves on the vetting of companies or vendors that they recommend to their clients. They can also check the background of anyone that the homeowner has been or plans on doing business with.
The Island Eyes team includes Dina, who in her previous profession could be found in a hospital operating room or doctor’s office as a physician’s assistant. She traded that for private investigator credentials and process-serving. Dina is also fluent in Spanish. Other team members are Dan Collardey, who retired from Michigan law enforcement and is a notary and process server, and Donald Shleifer II, who is also a PI, process server and notary public.
