On October 7, two salvage boats from AYS&S Marine Salvage accompanied by a Florida Fish and Wildlife boat and a U.S. Coast Guard boat, salvaged a derelict boat that was wedged into the mangroves at the east end of Pompano Bay, Isles of Capri.
