After introducing physical therapy, active stretching, and personal training to its existing program of guided workouts and nutritional coaching, Ideal Physical Therapy & Fitness has welcomed hundreds of new clients and patients into its family. This new integrated approach helps clients achieve greater levels of wellness since it addresses a wide range of factors that influence good health.
The comprehensive wellness offering at Ideal is resonating strongly with clients in their community. After starting in August of 2018, physical therapist Dr. Phil Standhart is seeing upwards of 90 patients per week and has hired additional staff to help care for the influx of new clients. Many of Dr. Standhart’s patients have naturally transitioned from rehabilitation to guided-circuit training, stretching, or personal training. This multi-pronged approach enables clients to strengthen and extend the gains made from their physical therapy work.
Having heard about the Active Stretching Program, Ideal Physical Therapy & Fitness member, Debbie Lee, came in to address her low back pain that had been bothering her for some time. Tim McGee, Head Stretching Trainer, diagnosed the nature and severity of Debbie’s pain and developed a plan of stretches to increase blood flow to that region and create distance between her vertebrae.
After several treatments, Debbie experienced considerable relief that dramatically improved her everyday quality of life. “My back pain has gone from severe to being able to cope again. I can walk, sleep and work with less pain,” Debbie remarks.
Since Ideal offers their services to fitness members and non-members alike, they see a wide range of client needs. No matter which service a client comes in for, however, most have found value in the additional offerings. Active golfers and pickleballers seeking stretches that help improve their game find that personal training can take them even further. Fitness members and personal training clients are achieving more lasting results by incorporating nutritional coaching and weight loss techniques into their life.
Spurring this growth is the highly trained team of exercise and health professionals at Ideal. Ashley Lampkin is the newest addition as she will now manage the personal training service. Ashley has 13 years of experience as a personal trainer and is a former fitness advisor to the local Fox 4 News channel. She also holds a degree in exercise science and credentials as a certified strength and conditioning specialists. She will lead a team of trainers to deliver functional 1-on-1 workouts that are highly personalized to each client’s needs.
Ideal Physical Therapy & Fitness is not only focused on meeting their client’s health needs, but also their financial ones. The services offered are designed to meet people’s budgets by offering flexible membership options and package deals. What’s more, Ideal offers a free 30-minute stretching session and a free 60-minute personal training consultation to all first-time clients.
