“The Shelter relies on community partners like IBERIABANK for support and help in achieving our goals. The cell phones we received from “i Gives Back” will allow our shelter victims to remain safe at all times by having access to emergency services and will also provide funding for our life-changing programs and services,” said Rebecca Grabau, Volunteer and Resource Coordinator for the Shelter for Abused Women & Children.
The “i Gives Back” program recipients for February are the Friends of the Library chapters in Collier and Lee counties. “We are three quarters of the way through the month, and have already collected hundreds of books,” said Keith Short, Market President for IBERIABANK. “Our employees, clients and our community have truly embraced this initiative and for that we are grateful. Plans for March are already underway when we will celebrate our company’s 125th Anniversary. We will “give back” to our community through appreciation events in our branches, volunteer participation, and random acts of kindness. Don’t be surprised if someone picks up your lunch or helps pump your gas tank during the month of March!”
