Deemed a shredding success, Iberia Bank recently held its 14th Shred Party. “This was our best to date,” said Keith Dameron, manager of Iberia Bank. “Over 6.6 tons were shredded. Over 740 boxes or bags of documents were shredded. We had nearly 200 vehicles come through to drop off documents to be shredded.”

The Marco Island Police Foundation helped with the party and received a check for $2,260 for their scholarship fund. “We always donate the proceeds to a worthy cause. The success of the Shred Party is spreading. Our other branch locations have started them,” Keith added, noting the next Shred Party will be at the Iberia Bank location in Golden Gate on April 26. “A special thanks to Iberia Bank employees: Sean, AnnaMarie, Laura, Leticia and Wendy.”

Joe Granda, Police Foundation President added, “We will give $26,000 in scholarships this year. Donations like this are truly appreciated and make the scholarships possible. We want to thank Keith Dameron and the Iberia staff who volunteer their time and efforts on a Saturday for our benefit. They did a great job.” Not only did Iberia Bank staff participate, but Marco Island Police Foundation members did much of the heavy lifting.
