It’s old fashioned, but it’s new fashioned. A couple of entrepreneurs, Chris Quinton and Glenn Walton have brought a hot dog cart – specifically Beach Dogs – to town.
You may see front man Chris around Marco Island behind his shiny new hot dog stand, a terrific mobile all-in-one device featuring a grill, refrigerator, sink and display case. He can pack it and tow it from place to place. He also has a tent and some seating for those who want to dine al fresco! Chris offers up regular hot dogs from world renowned Nathan’s, dogs with cheese, chili, peppers, onions – pretty much any way you want them. He also has “Walking Tacos”, chorizo, fritos, bowls of chili and varieties of soft drinks. Hot dogs start at $3 and, for $4 you can get a dog, fritos and a drink.
Chris is fully licensed, inspected and insured. You don’t have to go all the way up to 6th Avenue in New York for a tasty treat!
Chris Quinton is an Iraq War veteran and a Marco Island native. Thus far he has been available at special events on the island. He’ll soon be venturing up to Bonita Springs to give them a hot dog treat.
