An evening of haute couture elegance befitting places like New York and Milan is on hand this weekend at The Hope Ball, the second annual gala event supporting the Marco Island Branch of the American Cancer Society. The ball will be held Saturday, February 25th at the palatial Greystone Manor in the Estates, a perfect backdrop to a luxurious event. The stunning estate, owned by Tim Farris and Maria Coords, sits on three luxurious acres on Roberts Bay. Docents will be available throughout the home to answer any questions.
Marc Bouwer, will display his latest designs. He has created elegant fashions worn by many of the most beautiful and powerful women on the planet, far too many to list. Marco Islanders will get a sneak peek at his newest collection which will be unveiled in New York soon. Modeling the fashions for guests will be professional models as well as past American Cancer Society scholarship recipients, all cancer survivors. Members of the Lely Trojan football team will usher the event.
If that isn’t enough to entice you to attend, the silent auction will give guests an opportunity to win desirable one of a kind items. “Starting in the initial planning stages, it was our goal to create a truly memorable evening suitable to Marco Island. We have been fortunate, with the help of so many, we have been able to put together a wonderfully remarkable event!”
