Christmas keeps getting better and better on Marco Island.
Two events from Christmas Island Style have started the holiday season off right. A record crowd descended on Veterans Community Park on a sultry Saturday evening for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Residents and visitors mingled with neighbors and friends, listened to live music, and enjoyed performances by local children. The highlight of the evening was the lighting of the new community Christmas tree, following the ceremonial countdown by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Three days later, the Esplanade was the scene of the holiday pet parade, where dogs paraded down the red carpet in adorable, often silly, holiday attire. These two events are just the beginning. Get ready for a fun and festive event-filled holiday season on Marco Island!
