The Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa will hold a grand opening January to mark the completion of a $40 million expansion and renovation project.

Among the project’s components was the addition of 23 suites to increase the room count to 310 at the 11-story resort. Included is the introduction of all-new, oversized luxury family suites with connecting room options on the rooftop level, as well as poolside suites with spacious, verdant verandas.

The updates also include a revamped arrival experience in the lobby and upgraded accommodations, all with expanded gulf-front views throughout the property. The hotel’s newly designed outdoor pool features hand-crafted tiling imported from Italy. The same artisan-quality tile was used in the enhancement of the resort’s popular spa.

Dining options will include two new restaurants.

One, The Deck at 560 Bar & Restaurant, is an expansive indoor-outdoor space that will offer casual dining and unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico from its outdoor seating.

Executive chef Corey Hepburn has conceptualized the menus to make The Deck at 560 a distinctive destination restaurant for hotel guests, visitors to Marco and locals. There will also be special kid-friendly amenities, such as the newly installed, child-size brunch bar.  Patrons can expect inventive signature dishes such as the House Brined Pork Belly, steamed South Florida Clams, Filet Mignon and Gulf Coast Snapper. The Deck at 560 will also offer craft cocktails, featuring drinks with fresh Florida citrus juices, and draft brews from local Florida breweries.

The property will launch a new grab-and-go concept, 560 Market, which will feature an Illy coffee bar, as well as a variety of gourmet sandwiches and salads, baked flatbread and pizzas, and ice cream.  The market will also include assorted candy-by-the-pound to satisfy any sweet-tooth.

As guests relax on the white-sand beach, The Gulf Cart – a mobile snack and beverage cart – will deliver light bites and refreshing cocktails, including a bevy of fresh salads and gourmet sandwiches, as well as craft and frozen cocktails.

The Hilton Marco Island’s outdoor public spaces have also been re-envisioned.  Guests can relax by the freshly redesigned resort pool with poolside food and bar service provided by The Deck at 560. The property will also feature luxurious fire pits accompanied by cozy furniture.

For those seeking picturesque outdoor space for receptions, weddings and events, Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa will be expanding and upgrading its 15,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces. The new beachfront event lawn, debuting in the fall of 2017, will paint an unobstructed view of the beach waves, as the perfect venue for weddings and receptions. The lawn event space is also ideal for group gatherings or meeting breakout sessions. In addition to the upgraded and expanded outdoor meeting space, the property will also unveil a beautifully redecorated 5,200-square-foot spectacular grand ballroom.

Enjoyed by guests and locals alike, The Spa at Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort will reopen with a refreshing new spa menu featuring a variety of soothing body and facial treatments, relaxing massages and nail services. Additionally, spa visitors are encouraged to immerse in one of the full-day spa packages, ranging from three to four hours of pure serenity.

Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa looks forward to reintroducing itself to returning guests, locals, as well as new discerning travelers, starting in January. For more information, please visit www.hiltonmarcoisland.com.
