Helping Marco Island’s Burrowing Owls

As part of Truly Nolen Pest Control’s mission statement, and in the spirit of adding value to the lives they touch, Pest Control Technician Rafeal Rodriguez takes that statement to another level by making a difference for Marco Island’s burrowing owl population. Over the last few weeks, Rodriguez has visited many burrowing owl habitats and trimmed the weeds to allow the owls to have easy access to their homes.

“I was always taught to respect nature,” said Rodriguez. “The burrowing owl is an amazing animal and I’m glad to help make the entrance into their burrows that much easier for them, thanks to the training I received from Audubon of the Western Everglades.”
