A Marco Island resident, Dr. Werres obtained his medical degree from the University of Cologne Medical School in Germany. His advanced training includes an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. With over thirty years experience, Dr. Werres is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialties in cardiovascular diseases and nuclear cardiology. Currently, he is accepting new patients and is located on the campus of Physicians Regional-Collier Boulevard.
