If you are suffering the loss of a loved one through death you might be interested in a support group. Marco Lutheran Church is offering a Christ centered program starting Jan. 5th. The journey from mourning to joy will assist, encourage and support you as you cope with your loss.

This is the tenth year the program has been offered. Sessions begin at 9:30AM with fellowship and a chance for the group to develop a special relationship. Class time is from 10AM to noon. It is presented on DVD by experts in the field. Each person will have his or her own workbook to enhance the experience through exercises and journal.

The experts will address all aspects of grief. And give useful and tested suggestions in coping and recovering from the loss of your loved one. It is designed to be non-denominational.

The class runs from January 5th to April 5th. They will cover topics including effects of grief, death of a spouse, your family and grief, why, uniqueness of grief, stuck in grief, 20 lessons of grief and God’s prescription for grief. The last session talks about heaven. Come to as many classes as you like.

Marco Lutheran is located at 525 N. Collier Blvd. Contact Dory Catalano 239- 389-2363 or Joyce Waidelich 239-793-4601 to sign up or for more information.
