Keys for A Cause, a prelude to the American Cancer Society’s premiere gala event held in February, was an exquisite high society event with 150 in attendance. Guests pulled up to valet at Greystone Manor, checked in and were given their “Key”. Hosts and hostesses escorted guests down a tiki torch lit path that led into the garden. Each guest was met with a Tiffany Blue signature cocktail and mingled in garden. Casey Weston, a popular singer-songwriter with local roots entertained the crowd. Islander Frannie Quintana, a cancer survivor, also sang for the audience.
During the evening, guests would see if they could open the Tiffany and Co. box with their key. If their key unlocked the box they received a gift from an assortment of merchandise ranging in value up to $5000.00. Nine lucky guests won gifts. Food and drink was provided with compliments of CaterMasters, an award winning catering company, which will also participate in the upcoming gala.
Greystone Manor is a lavish estate on three acres with frontage on beautiful Roberts Bay. “Owners Maria Coord and Tim Harris were kind enough to allow us the use of their estate for this event. They were gracious hosts, and we look forward to working with them on the gala as well,” said Melissa Felice, Executive Director of the Marco Island Unit of the American Cancer Society. A Bentley, Maserati and Rolls Royce lined the drive for an additional touch of elegance and photo ops. The vehicles were provided by Bentley Maserati and Rolls Royce of Naples.
Funds raised at this event support the American Cancer Society’s Marco Island programs and services.
