In the past two Saturdays at CHESS K-12, Marco Library, the top eight students have qualified for the Round Robin tournament on May 27. THE GRAND CHAMPIONS ARE:

The seven rounds in the Round Robin will determine ratings. A win is 1, a draw is .5 and loss is 0. Based on the ratings, all will receive trophies and medallions. Cash awards of $520 will be distributed ($200, $150, $75, $25, $25, $25, $10, $10).

The funds were raised by donations.

season will begin in September. Plans are to have two classes – The Pioneers, from Kindergarten to grade 5, and the Seniors from grades 6 through 12.

We will have at least two Swiss tournaments to qualify eight top players, to then compete in a Round Robin. Our goal for funds are Pioneers $200 and Seniors $500.
