Ms. Wilson brings over 20 years of professional experience in marketing, business development, consulting, media relations, social marketing, development and public relations in both the nonprofit field and with Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Wilson most recently sold her consulting business, and previously led the marketing and communications efforts for The Nature Conservancy, Conservancy of Southwest Florida and Coors Brewing Company. Ms. Wilson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Management from Western Governors Universityand three Masters Certificates from Cornell University in Marketing Strategy, Branding and Leadership.
“Grace Place has grown tremendously since its inception in 2004. I am blessed to be joining an organization so passionately committed to family literacy at this juncture in their history. I love this opportunity to work with such a vibrant team to take the organization to the next level. The robust stories about providing pathways out of poverty through family literacy are amazing and I am glad to be part of sharing them,” says Ms. Wilson.
Ms. Missal earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University. She taught fourth grade at Minerva Bilingual School in Honduras for two years and recently worked with families in the social services field.
“Since I was born and raised here in Naples, I have a deep and meaningful connection to the community, education and literacy. I love the knowledgeable and dedicated team at Grace Place, especially our volunteers, one of our most important assets. Ilove working with volunteers who want to do good things and are excited about making a difference. It’s very rewarding,” Ms. Missal says.
“Volunteers are core to the Grace Place mission and we are delighted to have Chrissie on board to recruit and work with our volunteers,” says Chief Development Officer for Grace Place, Barbara Evans. “Chrissie brings her love of families and education to our organization, and will have the pleasure of working with close to 225 volunteers who help us achieve our goals on an annual basis.”
