Government Services at Your Fingertips

Collier County Government Launches 311 Information Initiative

Reporting a pothole, flooded road, downed tree, graffiti, or scores of other issues is now as simple as pulling out a smartphone in Collier County.

Using Collier 311, which integrates directly with the county’s new citizen request management software, residents and visitors can notify Collier County Government staff as soon as they discover an issue. Those submissions are then routed to appropriate departments or individuals for handling and resolution.

Collier 311 provides a quick and convenient way to get information about non-emergency government services and programs or to report problems that need to be addressed. Service requests can be initiated via the Collier 311 mobile application, website, or by phone. Collier 311 allows citizens to report new issues using their smartphone’s GPS and camera capabilities to accurately pinpoint the location of the issue and to include photos and comments.

“With Collier 311, no citizen request for service is lost or forgotten as staff can easily manage, respond to, close, and report on service requests, thereby enhancing local government effectiveness and efficiency” said Collier County Administrative Services Department Head Len Golden Price. “Any Collier County resident, business-owner or visitor can call 311 to inquire about county-provided services, report problems, check the status of issues, or get information.

Instead of weeding through hundreds of seven-digit county government phone numbers, just call 311 to report graffiti or too-tall grass, find out where to vote, report a stray dog in the neighborhood and more.”

Download the Collier 311 app from the Apple App Store or get it on Google Play; visit the website at collier311.org; or call 311 from anywhere within Collier County.
