The 2015-2016 season was a busy one for Goodland with more people visiting our unique fishing village.
In an effort to keep the ball rolling from one great season into the next, the Goodland Civic Association is actively planning the 7th Annual Holiday Bazaar. This one-day event will be held at Margood Harbor Park located at 321 Pear Tree Avenue in Goodland. The waterfront park is lined with shade trees, features meandering pathways, a playground for the kids and the Margood History Museum. The Museum will be open during the Holiday Bazaar for those visitors eager to learn about Goodland’s unique and colorful history. The park is within walking distance to Goodland’s four waterfront restaurants featuring entertainment and fine fare in a laid back and relaxing “Old Florida” atmosphere.
About the Holiday Bazaar:
Saturday, November 26th from 10 AM to 4 PM, the Bazaar will host artists, crafters and food vendors, alongside local musicians filling Margood Harbor Park. The Holiday Bazaar will offer a 50/50 raffle and silent auction featuring tours, gift certificates, merchandise, hotel stays and much more. All items are donated from area businesses, restaurants, merchants, tour companies and resorts to benefit the Goodland Civic Association. This venue is expected to draw hundreds of people. The Holiday Bazaar is free of charge and open to all ages. If you’re looking for a unique one-of-a-kind gift this holiday season, or just want to sit back and enjoy live music in a beautiful waterfront surrounding, the Goodland Civic Association’s Holiday Bazaar is sure to please!
