Meet your neighbors! During the summer of 2020, Marco made national news about neighborhood issues with Short-Term Renters (STRs). This was the spark to the creation of Citizens for a Better Marco (CBM). CBM is grounded with one purpose: to give single–family homeowners the space they need to share everyday life and simply be a member of our great residential community. Sharing information, awareness, education outreach and advocacy will be our objectives.
We need to be better neighbors! A good neighbor means trying. We should consider listening to upset neighbors, learning through open questions, saying hello when you pass in the street or at Publix. Can we help and look out for each other? Can we all leave Marco in a better place?
The CBM community group intends to be an open and transparent group with dialogue among residents, policymakers, industry stakeholders, property owners and the community. To learn more, and help build our community, come to our monthly meeting at Mackle Park, January 8, 2021, 3 to 4 PM, 29 people maximum inside, possible outdoor, 1361 Andalusia Terrace. RSVP at CitizensforaBetterMarco@gmail.com.
