Though many in Collier County may have already found their way into the beautiful Clive Daniel Home showroom in Naples, chances are their previous visits did not include joining hundreds of their friends and neighbors for DJ music, prizes, giveaways, refreshments, and yes, complimentary health screenings.
However, on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM, Clive Daniel Home will be transformed into the ultimate celebration of health when Physicians Regional Healthcare System (PRHS) takes over all the stunning sofas, dining tables, and patio furniture to host their first-ever “Pink Party” in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
CEO Dan Lubner of Clive Daniel Home states, “It is an honor to open our doors to Physicians Regional and the women of Collier County for this special event. There is nothing more important than shining a light on the health and wellness of the women of our community.”
Appropriately described as “the healthiest shopping trip you’ll ever make,” PRHS’s Pink Party is free to the public and promises to deliver a healthy blend of essential wellness information, engaging activities, useful organic cooking presentations, and dazzling window shopping.
With their understanding that every woman is unique when it comes to her healthcare needs, this marks the fourth consecutive year PRHS has sponsored a major event honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The increased popularity of this annual affair has also resulted in the expansion of this year’s program to a larger venue and grander format as compared to their highly successful “Mammos & Manicures” events from years past.
All proceeds from the evening’s raffles and silent auction will be donated to Cancer Alliance of Naples (CAN). Another special benefit to all attendees is the ability to sign up for a reduced-price annual mammogram—offered at just $89—with $10 from every appointment completed in the month of October also donated directly to CAN.
According to Taylor Hamilton, PRHS’s System Director of Marketing & Public Relations, “By offering women a single event location to obtain information on healthcare issues such as gynecology, maternity, osteoporosis, stroke, dermatology, and diabetes, we also provide her with the essential tools necessary to help medically safeguard her future.”
As noted by Scott Campbell, CEO of Physician Regional-Collier Boulevard, “As servants of the community, it’s critically important we promote women’s health. This public forum promises to present this information in an exciting new format unlike anything Collier County has ever seen before.”
With their conveniently located hospital just north of Marco on Collier Boulevard, PRHS has also announced plans to open a Walk-In Clinic on Marco at the corner of San Marco and Barfield no later than January 2013.
All health-conscious women are all invited to “get their pink on” and RSVP by calling 239-348-4180 before October 15th.
Clive Daniel Home is located at 2777 Tamiami Trail North in Naples.
