Dr. Wollschlaeger is the son of a Nazi tank commander in Hitler’s army. He was only 14 years of age when he discovered his father’s role in WWII and his support of Hitler’s policy of exterminating the Jewish population. From that moment he began to study Jewish culture and its religion. He was fascinated by the religion and chose to convert and become a practicing Jew.
Learn about this extraordinary conversion. Dr. Wollschlaeger obtained his medical education in Germany and then continued in Israel. He also served as a soldier in the Israeli Defense Force.
