
The white ibis is one of the many beautiful birds that may be seen during the event.
Friends of Tigertail Beach will host its Sixth Breakfast & Birds event entitled, “Identify our Winter Wading Birds and Shorebirds” on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Please bring your breakfast, binoculars and enthusiasm!
There will be a presentation reviewing the physical and behavioral characteristics of the respective birds as an aid to identification at the Tigertail beach kiosk at 9 AM. Following the presentation, the FOT behaviorists will lead the group along the lagoon edge in hopes of seeing and identifying many of the birds that were discussed.
